The Slovak Philharmonic:
– develops national musical culture and presents it in the Slovak Republic and abroad,
– artistically prepares and publicly presents compositions of Slovak and international music,
– has activities in the fields of mediation, publishing and promotion,;
– has other important cultural activities.
