Jubilant Elena Letňanová based her piano recital on the works of the most important composers of piano literature. Fryderyk Chopin’s ballads, as well as his popular Revolutionary Etude, in combination with Mephisto’s Waltz and Hungarian Rhapsody by Franz Liszt, will be played together with the younger Bolero-blues work of the Slovak composer Iris Szeghy.
The evening will be accompanied by Emília Vášaryová, who will read some letters from Chopin’s correspondence.
